DENSO TANK BASE PROTECTION SYSTEMS™
The Denso Steelcoat™ Tank Base Protection System is a combined tape and liquid coating system designed for the protection of the external base area of aboveground steel storage tanks.
DENSYL MASTIC
Densyl Mastic is a cold applied self-supporting mastic. It is a petrolatum compound
containing inert siliceous fi llers and vegetable fi bers.
Densyl Mastic is used for sealing, fi lling and caulking applications where a protective,
waterproof and non-setting mastic is required. It can be used to contour tank bases and
profi le irregular surfaces. It is applied prior to the tape application and generally used in
conjunction with primer, Denso Petrolatum Tapes or Denso Bituminous Tapes.

DENSO ULTRASEAL TAPE
Denso Ultraseal Tape is comprised of an acrylic
coated non woven synthetic fibre fabric coated with
a polymer bitumen adhesive compound on one
side. It has a release paper interleaving which is
removed during application.
Denso Ultraseal Tape is used for the protection of
above ground steelwork from corrosion. It is a
component of the Steelcoat System 400.
Features

protection, and - contains no volatile components.
DENSO PRIMER D
Fast-drying bitumen solution.
Denso Primer D is a fast-drying primer that
maintains surface cleanliness of the pipe prior to
tape application.

- improves cathodic disbondment resistance, and
- dries rapidly even in cool conditions.
DENSO HI-TACK TAPE
A surface tolerant, high-tack petrolatum tape for the protection of above ground steelwork.
Denso™ Hi-Tack Tape is a specially developed petrolatum tape to give high performance corrosion prevention for above ground steelwork. It is a component of the Denso Steelcoat™ Systems.

DENSO HI-TACK PRIMER
A tacky, adhesive primer for use with Denso Hi-Tack™ Tape and Steelcoat™ Systems.
Denso™ Hi-Tack Primer is a tacky adhesive primer for use with Denso petrolatum tapes – particularly where these are applied longitudinally or on flat areas. It can be used to prime steel or concrete substrates.

DENSO ACRYLIC TOPCOAT
Single pack waterborne synthetic copolymer
coating.
Denso Acrylic Topcoat is suitable for use as a
topcoat over Denso Ultraseal Tape and Denso
Ultraseal RT Tape as part of the Denso Steelcoat Systems.
